I am currently the Lead Android Engineer at Bark where I am focusing on building a new type of smart phone that aims to protect kids and integrate parents into their online lives
In the past I lead Android development at Truepic Inc. where I focused on our Camera SDK and enterprise applications.
Prior to Truepic, I was the lead software engineer at Vicarious Inc. where I built a mobile VR publishing platform focused on immersive storytelling and user-generated content via new and legacy media formats (2D and 360 media). This is a design-forward tool that opens a new form of expression in virtual reality.
Between 2014-2016 as an R&D Software Engineer at Samsung, I focused on next-generation application development for both Android and Gear VR platforms (with a UI/UX focus). I have a M.S. and B.S. in Computer Science (game development and software concentration) from Southern Methodist University. I also attended the Guildhall Master's program at SMU for game development during the Spring of 2013 to finish my undergraduate specialization.
I also interned twice for Samsung Mobile in the past, in both User Experience and R&D areas, and also as a software developer in-test at Hewlett-Packard. I've taught introductory computer science material at SMU as a Teaching Assistant and personal tutor. My personal interests include Mobile/Virtual Reality/Graphics development (Android), UI/UX, and game development and Unity.
